Rainbow Bridge crash, explosion not connected to terrorism news

The FBI announced Wednesday night that it would turn over a car crash and explosion at the border earlier that day to Niagara Falls police as a traffic investigation.

"FBI Buffalo has completed its investigation at the Rainbow Bridge crime scene. No explosives were found during the crime scene search and no terrorist links were identified," the agency said in a statement. The agency's conclusion echoes statements made by New York Governor Kathy Hochul, who told the media at a press conference Wednesday night that there was no evidence of a crash on the U.S. side of the Rainbow Bridge, which connects the United States and Canada. . New York was a terrorist attack. She also told the press conference that there was no evidence of explosives at the crime scene.

The term "Rainbow Bridge" is often used to refer to a poetic and comforting idea about the afterlife for pets, particularly dogs and cats. It's a concept that brings solace to those who have lost a beloved pet. The idea is not associated with any specific religious belief but is more of a sentimental and consoling thought.

The Rainbow Bridge poem, attributed to an anonymous author, describes a place where deceased pets go and wait for their owners to join them. The imagery of a rainbow symbolizes a bridge between the earthly life and the afterlife, and the idea is that the pets are happy and healthy, playing in a beautiful, peaceful meadow until they can be reunited with their owners.

Here is the text of the Rainbow Bridge poem:

"Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
